Whitewater 101 is a beginner-friendly kayak instruction program based on the Saluda River in Columbia, South Carolina. We teach people how to paddle safely, build confidence on moving water, and become part of the local river community.

Learn the foundations of whitewater kayaking through structured instruction, real river time, and a supportive challenge-by-choice learning environment on the Lower Saluda River in Columbia, South Carolina.
