Ready to level up? Whitewater 102 is a 6-week adventure designed for graduates of Whitewater 101 who are hungry for more. This course picks up right where 101 left off—only now, we turn up the volume.

We’ll meet on Tuesdays and Sundays at the Saluda River, building on the solid foundations of stroke work, boat control, and river reading. But this time, we’re getting into the good stuff: dynamic inversions and staying calm & capable in kinetic environments.

You’ll learn to work with the river instead of fighting against it—because flips happen, but fear doesn’t have to.

The class wraps up with an optional trip to the Nantahala, where you’ll paddle alongside our 101 class and see just how far you’ve come.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Whitewater 101

  • Your own boat and personal gear

  • A sense of humor and a willingness to swim (a little)

Led by instructors Alex and Nick, this course is high-energy, skill-packed, and student-focused. If 101 taught you to paddle, 102 shows you how to roll with it—literally and figuratively.
